We are still building Cascade Campers!

If you have been thinking about getting a small campervan your window of opportunity is closing. We will continue to build them through the Fall of 2024 and potentially longer depending on demand.

If you haven’t heard, RAM is discontinuing the Promaster City (PMC) after the 2022 model year. I hear about folks still finding new PMCs on lots but rare at this point. Ford and Mercedes have announced the same for the Connect and Metris and Nissan ended the NV200 in 2021. It could be years before there is another small van in the US market and when they do come back they will surely be electric. While we love electric cars the technology isn’t there yet to make a good campervan considering the distances we like to travel.

We are happy to build-out used Promaster City vans so its not a problem if you can’t find a new one. There are tons of low mile PMCs out there that make great candidates for a Cascade Camper build. See our buying a van page for what to look for.

We at Cascade Campers are passionate about small campervans for their flexibility, daily drivability, and low cost. Big vans are great for many reasons but don’t expect us to join that already busy market anytime soon. We are instead going to keep building our Promaster City based campervans for as long as folks keep bringing them to us.

We want YOU to be able to afford a well-equipped, high-quality campervan.  We built our business around this basic concept.

Here's how we do it:

• We only work with 2015 and newer RAM ProMaster City cargo vans that you supply.

• Outside of a couple of simple options (see Options page) we don’t make any changes from our standard design. Think- production line.

• Our campervans fit in nearly any garage and parking spot so you can get rid of your existing car and drive your Cascade Camper to work if your budget doesn’t allow for a second vehicle.

• There isn’t a bathroom installed as there just isn’t space. The old German campervans didn’t have a bathroom either. You will manage. :)

• We don’t work through RV dealerships. You gotta come to our shop in Grass Valley, California, located in the beautiful Sierra foothills. No, we won’t ship it to you. We do have an East Coast pick-up option with details in our FAQ.

• Fully equipped price is $9,800 plus tax.
